I have noted how long questions that ask "where is this" and do NOT include a station take to be answered.   So I expect this quiz will stick.   But please prove me wrong  Grin

One guess only though for the first 24 hours

1. Frome - Bradshaw

2. Vauxhall - on the cushions

3. Swansea - Rogerw

4.  Bath Bus Station - Martyjon

5. Bristol, Temple Circus - Bignosemac

6. Southampton - Chris from Nailsea

All pictures I have taken this month or last.

6.  Southampton, WestQuay Shopping Centre - footbridge on the old city wall.

William Huskisson MP (Member of Parliament, or Mile Post (a method of measuring the railway in miles and chains from a starting point - usually London), depending on context) was the first person to be killed by a train while crossing the tracks, in 1830.  Many more have died in the same way since then.  Don't take a chance: Stop, Look, Listen.

No 5 could be somewhere in Bristol where works are going on in connection with MetroBus but don't recognize where. The clue for saying Bristol is the 20mph speed limit attached to the lamppost, the 20mph speed limit which the previous elected mayor introduced and was promptly caught doing 30mph in a 20mph zone as revealed by Jeremy Clarkson in an episode of Top Gear.

Both correct. (Rough cut and fine tuning!)

Purely in the interests of accuracy: the former Mayor of Bristol, George Ferguson, was actually done for doing 35mph in a 30mph zone - see the Bristol Post article.  Wink

Bus 36/436 from Praed St, outside Paddington.

Never used that loo - you'd either need to be quite an exhibitionist or have taken a strong diuretic as it's quite prominent and extensively CCTV (Closed Circuit Tele-Vision)'d from MI6 HQ (HeadQuarters).

3. Swansea

Clues leading me to that being the C registration on the van, the bilingual green and black type on the station sign, and the city streetscape.
