Trip to London yesterday. Got on a Cotswold Line train at Reading at about 11:00, which had been due in about 09:30. Further delayed by a door fault.
At OOC▸ the TM‡ advised passengers who boarded before Oxford to retain tickets and claim. Presumably another job for the driver if they do make them truely DOO▸ .

06:42 Hereford to London Paddington due 09:46 will be cancelled. This is due to damage to the overhead electric wires. Further Information This train service cancellation has arisen as a result of the level of disruption and displacement of carriages which occurred following the damage to the overhead wires near Paddington on Sunday. It will no longer call at Honeybourne, Moreton-in-Marsh, Kingham, Charlbury, Hanborough, Oxford, Reading, Slough and London Paddington. It has been delayed at Worcester Shrub Hill and is now 38 minutes late. This is due to a fault on this train. HST▸ – not sure what the fault is/was

Additional Information Customers for Ledbury, Colwall, Great Malvern and Malvern Link are advised to board the 15:39 Hereford to Birmingham New Street West Midlands Railway service.
Customers travelling to Worcester Shrub Hill and stations through to London Paddington are advised to board the 15:39 Hereford to Birmingham New Street service and alight at Worcester Foregate Street and wait for the 16:57 Worcester Foregate Street to London Paddington service.
Last Updated:03/11/2018 13:10 Outward journey was the 10:22 from Paddington. Left 41 late. 59 late by the time it was cancelled beyond Shrub Hill.

Couple of others from earlier in the weekend 1W45 2320 London Paddington to Moreton-in-Marsh Great Western Railway service departing on 2nd November 2018
This service was cancelled between Oxford and Moreton-in-Marsh due to an issue with the train crew (TH).
1P55 1450 Moreton-in-Marsh to London Paddington Great Western Railway service departing on 3rd November 2018
This service was cancelled throughout due to a problem with the traction equipment (MD). The outward bound 1W33 1222 London Paddington to Moreton-in-Marsh having broken down somewhere between Ascott-under-Wychwood and Moreton-in-Marsh

Maybe there's a better place to mention this but a couple of short-formations this morning that didn't appear on JourneyCheck.
The 05:28 Hereford to Paddington and 07:10 Moreton-in-Marsh to Paddington both five coach IETs▸ instead of the usual nine.
Certainly five coaches on the 07:10 are more than enough for the Cotswold Line part of the journey but it did seem that capacity would have struggled beyond Oxford.
