07:33 Westbury to Swindon due 08:15 has been delayed at Westbury and is now 37 minutes late.
This is due to a fault with the signalling system.

Not a good start to the 170th anniversary of the commencement of passenger services on the Thingley Junction to Westbury route.

But the 1736 ex Swindon is running which is the same unit.    This makes me think it's being nicked for something and leaving the Trans Wilts to suffer.    There is again no advice for passengers and when GWR^▸ (Great Western Railway) do say use the Help Point at Melksham they are placing the responsibility onto the passenger to sort it out.

The 1645 Bristol Parkway to Warminster is cancelled (unit fault) and it's next working, 1818 Warminster to Cheltenham is starting at Westbury.    I read something into that.

Have tracked and this was the case.    Trans Wilts not a priority for GWR
