Not sure about this "Advent" business but now that we're definitely in the season of goodwill, Merry Christmas to all from Taplow! (.....and Plymouth, whom I have just watched win 4-1, truly it must be Christmas!!!)

Yes - and how appropriate for Welshman to know that! Not far from my ancestral part of the world. Quite an imposing station for such a small village. See here. Was used as a location in the Hinterland TV series. Dovey Junction, of no road to the station fame, is in the far distance to the North East across the flatlands which surround the Dovey Estuary.
