It is indeed the end of York Place. I'm not so sure about trams gazing wistfully though - source?

It is indeed the end of York Place. I'm not so sure about trams gazing wistfully though - source? IIRC▸ the original plan was to go down to Leith docks. It proved to be just too expensive. They only built about 60% of the originally intended system. Paul

They only built about 60% of the originally intended system. Paul ... and who knows, trams met yet reach Leith. But in any case the depot is at Gogar (or Edinburgh Gateway, if you navigate by railway stations) and that's the only place the wist retention tanks can be emptied, so ...
