I am sure someone could do very much worse without even trying.
If Dft demands the reducing of the role of guard as part of the new franchise specification then yes no trying required.

I can already see the storm clouds brewing over the new South Western franchise after the recent interview with new MD Andy Mellors.

Not as bad this morning with 2 cancellations and 1 starting halfway as at 08:30.

Still lots of shortforms, especially in the Thames valley. No way should they be able to roll out that excuse come January.

Sadly the list of cancellations or trains starting/terminating short has increased.

One would hope that replacement road transport will be provided on the Weymouth line in view of the infrequent service on this line. Waiting four hours for the next train isn't a good alternative.
