Just to re-assure our members - GWR (Great Western Railway) are not the only train operator suffering staff shortages and train faults - here is today's High Speed Train schedule / allocation from the HST (High Speed Train) enthusiasts group.    Other trains are available between Glasgow and Edinburgh, and between York and Leeds.

I'm not sure that you reassure a patient very effectively by telling them that someone else is ill?

You're quite right, TG.  Though there's no harm in comparing the state of other wards in the hospital.

What you forgot to mention, Graham, was that as well as staff shortages, hidden amongst that list is another case of "Due to more than the usual number requiring repairs at the same time" as a VTEC HST power car was called in following the failure yesterday of an XC (Cross Country Trains (franchise)) power car (and subsequent failure of the EMT» (East Midlands Trains - about) HST power car initially roped in) for the 1V58 and 2C80 services  Smiley

? ? - think it was mentioned in the initial graphic, and in my comment "not the only train operator suffering staff shortages and train faults", but granted I didn't read into the gory details.    Would it have been like a return to old times, then, with a Virgin HST power car along the sea wall?

Not quite the sea wall and unfortunately not a full Virgin set
