I have arranged for 26 people to catch the 1845 train from Severn Beach to Temple Meads, have an hour at TM (Train Manager, or possibly Ticket Machine, depending on context), and return on the 2034 from Temple Meads. Can I buy Groupsave tickets tomorrow at Temple Meads ? Any advice welcome please.

Unofficial advise and may be out of date ... buy from an on-train conductor on a previous journey; they can issues one physical ticket for 26 people, whereas the booking office will give you 26 outbound and 26 return tickets, and you may end up with a long queue.

This is not now the case, with the introduction of the new star mobile machine each individual will be issued the own tickets as instructed by the rail delivery group.

Thanks to all for the above info. Absolutely no problem buying 26 return tickets at a window because the travel centre was closed (midday on a Monday!). Cost £2 return with groupsave. I was even asked if I was allergic to the elastic band the tickets were bound  up in. Now that's what I call customer service ! Now, all we have do is hope the train turns up and the rain stays away !
