As well as trialling a class 387 to Maidenhead on Monday, I decided to make use of the day pottering around our capital, which is where most of the below was taken, can YOU guess where else I went?

As per usual quiz rules, one correct guess per member per 24 hours etc etc.

1. Greenford - Stuving

2. Liverpool Street - chrisr_75

3. Reading West - SandTEngineer

4. Marylebone - bobm

5. Holloway Road - Richard Fairhurst

6. Highbury & Islington - PhilWakely

7. South Ruislip - rower40

8. Shadwell - rower40

9. Royal Oak - IndustryInsider & Thatcham Crossing

10. Brockley - stuving

As this is the Adelante_CCT quiz, I thought it appropriate to add these next three.
11. Kings Cross - Worcester_Passenger

12. Reading - Oxonhutch

13. Finsbury Park - paul7755

Let's get you going with no. 1 - Greenford (looking from the Up Central Line platform across to the Up signals before Greenford West junction on the Wycombe Single line).

I'm afraid not Graham, however I did go to Old Street to see a job that we carried out at work (which I took snaps of), which is just around the corner from the station and was going to add the below picture to the quiz but decided against it.

So well done for guessing one of the locations without the aid of a picture  Grin

S&T (Signalling and Telegraph) just beat me to 3 - so I'll go for Marylebone at number 4.

Now for a bonus point, and in the interests of sticking with quiz forum "rules" (and to keep a particular forum member happy), where was picture 4 taken from?

At the top of the steps up from Boston Place to Rossmore Road ... oh, and also up from Taunton Place.

8 is just east of Christian Street Junction on the LT&S between Fenchurch Street and Limehouse.  So I assume taken from DLR (Docklands Light Railway) train at Shadwell station.
(Signal number UR116 gives it away...)

7 is South Ruislip, with the class 66 in platform 3 having come from either the Refuse Transfer station or the Wycombe line, being overtaken by the Chilterns train on the Down Main.
