Blimey. 13/15. Which is surprising as at least 9 of those 15 were guesswork!

14/15 first time for me.  I should have known the one I got wrong and made a few 'deductions' about some.  I shall enjoy having another go.  Thanks Graham.

 Grin

This ain't one of these quizzes that say they're hard but turn out to be easy.  A score of 13 is pretty darned good ...  and I'll bet the guesses were educated guesses ...

11/15 at first attempt, pleased with that as quite a few were guesswork and/or done by process of elimination (eg, I know that's not St Ives, it's a single line terminus, probably Newquay....correct!)

I know I would have trouble reaching double figures if someone else had set the quiz - though the multiple choice approach makes it a tad easier.  I'm amazed how many people are scoring so well!

Correction made to picture location http://www.wellho.net/pix/pdestd4.jpg ... not bad to have only had one error reported.

Quiz remains open at http://www.wellho.net/network ... Go on - have another go - you'll get different pictures!

Despite having scored an embarrassingly low 5 out of 15 on my first attempt, I'm rather pleased that I didn't get the Nailsea & Backwell one wrong.  Embarrassed

I've had four goes now and been as low as 11 but can't get higher than 14 (twice).  But how can one guess a piece of plain track with few features surrounding?   Grin  Good fun and certainly makes the brain work.

The very fact that there are few features  Grin ... helps eliminate the other three (assuming I have the picture you're talking about) ... but one of the most difficult in the quiz.    Very very people have scored a perfect 15 ...

There have now been 696 submissions for marking for this quiz ... the picture that the least people have got right is this one - only 61.9%;

second hardest at 63.5%:

Easiest (86.9%):

and second easiet (85.7%):

(Can't imagine why so many people got those!)

Of course the whole story is only told when you know what the options offered were; in some cases I offered some pretty silly options and other were darned hard!

Quiz still open at http://www.wellho.net/network

Have I found another error..........

I am probably being very thick here, but I am pretty certain this is NOT honiton as you suggest (Honiton's old station building was demolished many moons ago). It actually looks more like Crewkerne to me, but that isn't offered as an answer. Huh??

Oh sugary-dee ... I'll need to dig out the original and see what the GPS marking tells me!

Crewkerne seems right, the roof of the signal box can be seen at the top, far right. The stonework is correct as is the exit to the right of the building
