Seven images all taken in the first eleven weeks of 2017.   All are my own photos - and I seem to have been travelling quite widely again.   Can you identify where I have been?

In order to give others a chance, one each please ... I'll open the floor for second guesses after 24 hours in the unlikely event of any not being identified!

1.

2.

3.

4. Southampton Aiport - Ellendune

5. Steam, Swindon - Western Pathfinder

6. Westbury - Bignosemac

7. Leeds - Basset44

Peter Hendy - Chris B, Taunton - Chris from Nailsea
And for a bonus, and to keep the quiz traditional:

Southampton Airport and Steam, Swindon are correctly identified - sorry, other are not Manchester nor the Midland and South West Junction, though I can see why you might think those!

The bonus is Sir Peter Hendy

... and he was probably speaking to delegates at the TravelWatch SouthWest meeting in TAUNTON on 4 March 2017.  Roll Eyes

Unfortunately, I was unable to attend, as I was working.  Huh

I have cut in correct answers so far:
4 Southampton Aiport - Ellendune
5 Steam, Swindon - Western Pathfinder
7 Leeds - Basset44
Bonus Peter Hendy - Chris B, Taunton - Chris from Nailsea

Most of the remaining pictures are in GW (Great Western) territory, so shouldn't be totally tough.  Open to all as it's almost 24 hours.  Been a quiet quiz, but the Saturday is always the day of the week that the forum is quietest, so that's somewhat what I had anticipated.

The Southampton Airport picture is interesting in that it shows excellent grouping of public transport - the "99  steps from the train to checkins".  You can see the platform, and a plane taxiing out from the terminal. You can also see a local bus, all in the one picture.

Bignosemac has that right - the station buffet at Westbury. Very useful supply point for those things left at home!

Nothing on TV this Friday evening?   Take a guess at these three remaining instead!

1.

2.

3.

Two in what's currently GWR (Great Western Railway) territory, and one about 15 miles from the nearest GWR station as the crow flies, but further as the train travels. One at a re-opened station, one closed, and one that's not been closed (except at night) since it was opened.
