Whilst waiting for the 1847 to Avonmouth on Friday 28th October 2016 I was able to watch this chap at work on platform 3 at Bristol TM (Train Manager, or possibly Ticket Machine, depending on context), composing a charcoal drawing of the scene. A work in progress that looked, to my untrained eye, rather good:

Just goes to show how much better the old place looks without that awful post office conveyor contraption now how about that other eyesore ?.

A year or two ago there was a woman on the Brook Road bridge looking over Oldfield Park station painting the scene (it looked a similar sized painting to this one). I saw her there a few times, so she was taking it very seriously, and similarly the painting looked very professional.
