Serves them right for updating it!!  Wink
AVB 2 is far superior to AVB 1, much quicker and doesn't make stupid clicking noises when you tap the screen!

Had AVB2 for over a year now, never had any problems, apart from the chip and pin pads that never ever work!

... especially for transactions of less than a pound, apparently?   Wink

Seriously, vacman: all credit to on-board staff for selling tickets efficiently - our platform machines at Nailsea are often OOU (out of use) due to rain, and last week our guard actually phoned ahead to BTM (Bristol Temple Meads (strictly, it should be BRI) but BTM is a commonly used alternative)) to warn them they'd have a rush on to sell tickets at the barriers there, as he'd exhausted his two rolls of tickets on board already.

William Huskisson MP (Member of Parliament, or Mile Post - a method of measuring the railway in miles and chains from a starting point - usually London, depending on context) was the first person to be killed by a train while crossing the tracks, in 1830.  Many more have died in the same way since then.  Don't take a chance: Stop, Look, Listen.

"Level crossings are safe, unless they are used in an unsafe manner."  Discuss.

I agree - but it's so fast you can't count the change before the ticket comes out!

Issue a credit note to get your change at the nearest staffed station, worked a treat in BR (British Rail(ways)) days.

They are the ones who i normally get rid of all my change on! And I'm not talking pound coins! Saves me counting it at the end of a shift when I'm rushing to go home, and the look on their face is priceless when they realise what you are doing, and they suddenly find a pound coin! Which I refuse and tell them i have their change sorted now! Cheesy
