Due to a person being hit by a train at Tilehurst all lines are blocked.
Impact:
Train services running through this station may be cancelled or delayed by up to 60 mins. Disruption is expected until 13:45 07/04.

If it's doing a tweet about the line problem at Tilehurst, then no, they weren't.

From National Rail:
Affected:
CrossCountry between Southampton Central / Bournemouth / Reading and Manchester Piccadilly / Newcastle and Edinburgh
Great Western Railway between London Paddington and Oxford / Cheltenham Spa / Swansea / Bristol Temple Meads / Cardiff Central

A person has been hit by a train between Reading and Didcot Parkway causing disruption to journeys between these stations. This is expected to continue until 14:00.
Trains may be delayed by up to 90 minutes or cancelled. Buses have been requested to run between Reading and Didcot Parkway.
