Toy dog sent into stratosphere by Lancashire schoolchildren

A toy dog named Sam has been sent into the Earth's atmosphere by schoolchildren in Lancashire.

The cuddly toy was attached to a helium balloon and was filmed travelling 25km (15 miles) into the stratosphere.

It was part of a science project by Morecambe Bay Community Primary School.

I'm guessing it wasn't delayed by "the wrong sort of cloud" or any reasons we are used to in our daily travels
