Railfuture, Severnside Branch AGM (Annual General Meeting) - http://www.railfuture.org.uk/tiki-index.php?page=Severnside%20Branch

Quote
The Branch AGM will be held on Saturday 9th April at 2pm in the Colosseum, Redcliff Hill, Bristol, about 10 minutes' walk from Temple Meads station. Guest speaker is Bernard Kennedy, ASLEF» (Associated Society of Locomotive Engineers and Firemen - about) Bristol Branch Secretary.

Note that this coincides with "TPOD2"; anyone intending to travel from Keynsham and Oldfield Park will need to use rail replacement buses, and from Bath and beyond you'll have a choice of train to Bath and Rail replacement buses from there, or travelling via Swindon and Bristol Parkway.

Oh - my - goodness. I'm going ... looks like I need to catch the 11:26 from Melksham ... change with a long wait at Chippenham and further change to a bus at Bath, or with a long wait at Swindon.  Journey planner not offering me "via Swindon" - had to work that out for myself even though it's quicker.   Same thing on return - significant time to spend at Chippenham or Trowbridge.   Bus Melksham to Bath to Bristol looks better today - ironic for a Railfuture meeting.

And, yes, with the engineering works going on, I appreciate that there's going to be some of the lesser flows that get a pretty cr*p set of connections and - in the balance of things - probably need to be answered with "it's only one two weekends".   The posters at Melksham have the Monday to Friday changes shown - no departure list for today or tomorrow; that and the lack of information as to how to go via Swindon at the weekend (it's up at the station for Mon to Fri) is perhaps a learning point for TPOD3.
