Caught something on R4 about Cameron's return HST▸ (High Speed Train (Inter City class 43 125 units)) from Chippenham, after visitng Seimans that well know British train maker, being sudddenly stopped by someone pressing the red button.

Any details. Wonder if they were pro or anti Europe.

Don't know which train he was on, but the passcom was puled on a London bound service after someone reported a strange noise under a coach on an HST▸ (High Speed Train (Inter City class 43 125 units)).

Incidentally Mr Cameron was provided with the green set for his trip west.

Possibly a publicity stunt to draw attention to a certain Wiltshire town where the brakes for railway trains are manufactured.  Smiley

This morning's Today suggested that he was delayed on his way out to Chippenham by a signal failure (ironic as he was going to a signalling company) and then on the way back by the communication cord issue. He could have come and joined me and about a million other people on the platform at Slough after the 06:58 from Swindon failed at Maidenhead! Just a regular day...

A little more on Today implied delay due to pass com pulled was around an hour surely it should take that long to reset.

The TransWilts was cancelled all afternoon ... including the peak 17:36 off Swindon.  Bit of a disaster ...
