Can't say I'm surprised this has happened. Drivers were briefed that the platform was being extended at the London end to accommodate another carriage length, but there was no mention at all of that section being barricaded by railings!  |

Is it the latest initiative to combat overcrowding? I thought it was a measure to stop PAX rushing off of trains unless they are hurdle jumpers and to stop PAX loading their bikes on |

Well I suppose by stopping passengers getting on the train you do reduce the risk of fair evasion  |
