I agree Stanstead has got good links, but it needs to because its such a long way away. I former colleague when informing us he was driving to Stanstead to catch plane to Hamburg, was asked why he was bothering with the plane after having travelled such a along way to the airport. He might as well have driven all the way to Hamburg!

On Southampton the station is very close but its hardly integrated. You get there and try and find the entrance to the terminal.
