Christmas peak restrictions?

As they have in previous years are GWR^▸ (Great Western Railway) relaxing off peak restrictions between Christmas and new year.

I've tried google and can only find details and date ranges for previous years.
Need to arrange a meeting in Exeter on 29/12 and will arrange it for me to arrive on the earliest off peak train I can!

The only thing I've specifically seen is that Weekend First is available thoughout - 24th to 3rd inclusive.

I suspect peaks have been abolished for the sanme dates? (Maybe not 24th AM?), but you're right, it needs publicising

P30 of the GWR^▸ (Great Western Railway) Guide to travelling with GWR at Christmas, available at all staffed stations (contains everything except timetables!) (sigh) :

Time restrictions will be lifted on GWR services from Thursday 24th December to Sunday 3rd January inclusive

Thank you. I haven't been to the station recently to see that leaflet and cant find it reproduce online.

A 9am appointment in Exeter could be on the cards, and a Day Ranger.

That's correct, you won't find the booklet reproduced online which is a shame because it's a good and detailed publication, except for train times.

I think it is an excellent publication and have told GWR^▸ (Great Western Railway) so. Given that full timetables over Christmas would turn it into a huge book, the only thing I think it lacks is a page of last trains to major destinations on Christmas Eve/New Years Eve.

Something that has appeared in previous years. All I can say is thank goodness for sites like Real Times Trains and Open Train Times now timetables are no longer produced.

@GWRHelp have advised someone that Wednesday [30th] is a normal day and all usual peak restrictions apply.
