"Heathfield is a "difficult" dream, I fear."
Hmmm, yes I see. Perhaps there are better candidates for a preserved line. You mentioned ACoRP▸ , special. Was that linked to the ACoRP awards in Torquay the previous day? The "Coffee Trike" at my local station won joint 3rd place in the Innovation category.

I can attest to the great coffee and service from Kiera with her Coffee Trike at Redland station.

Not sure this is the best thread to put this on but it is Severn Beach related. Regular passengers using Redland station will be sad to hear the the nearby garage when Kiera's Coffee Trike is stored overnight was broken into about a month back. Sad to say, it looks like it could well have been someone using the station who saw her putting the Trike away at the end of the day. Lot's of equipment, tools ramps ect, were stolen as well as some cash too. The place was left in a complete mess but the Trike proved beyond their thieving abilities. Despite all this, the Coffee Trike was put on hold only for that day and was back to normal the next working day. Top marks to Kiera though for getting up and running again and still keeping in good spirits.

Thanks for posting that update, johnneyw. I do understand your concern that your post should be in the right place on the Coffee Shop forum , so I've taken the opportunity to split a few previous posts from another topic elsewhere and merge them all here. After all, if Kiera is continuing to serve excellent coffee at Redland Station, despite that setback, I think the least we can do is provide a specific topic here.

I'm sorry to hear about the break in but glad to hear Kiera and her coffee trike are ok.
Could someone explain what on earth "Heathfield" refers to though?

Bmblbzzz, Allow me demystify proceedings. It was the inevitable result of Chris from Nailsea's consolidation of the Coffee Trike story onto it's own thread. Yours truly can be blamed for the need to do that as I was perhaps a little cavalier in chosing the original locations of my posts.

Sad news for weekday morning regulars at Redland station. After 3 years Keira and her coffee trike will be moving on after this week. A little goodbye event has been organised at Redland station on Fri 25th Nov by FOSBR▸ and others between 12.00 and 12.40. I'll certainly miss her and those morning cups of top coffee!

I'm sure you'll be wishing her well from the wider rail community such as this forum ... and I hope it's a positive move for her.

Time moves on. Any idea what she's doing? Maybe she'll sell the coffee trike as an ongoing business to someone else?

I may ask her tomorrow or Friday what her plans are. It would be interesting to see if anyone comes along in the future to fill the void.

Apparently there was a last minute campaign to change her mind but it was too little too latte.
