Dear First Great Western Railway,
Just because the weather outside is grey and overcast, does not mean the heating on your trains has to be at 35c. I know there are only two settings, freezing or boiling, but I'd rather be cold and put on my jacket, than be so unbearably hot that I am considering packing my Bermuda shorts for my next commute.
God help us when it actually gets cold....

I always prefer it cold to hot, if it's cold I can put a layer on, if it's hot and I'm only wearing trousers and a shirt I can take anything off.

What about the OP▸ , they could be female. So do I....but have you ever seen generally-speaking, women carry extra layers?
Ah, so it's women's fault that the train operator can't sort out the heating/cooling issues on their rolling stock. Some mildly offensive assumptions there I feel.

I prefer it to be cooler rather than hotter on a train.. Just to redress the male/female ratio's opinions

Several assumptions on your part there, I believe!
