Subject: Advice to staff re Chippenham
Date: 30 September 2015 11:24:40 BST

Please be aware when conducting ticket checks from CHIPPENHAM that some customers have been delayed by up to an hour getting to Chippenham due to roadworks affecting the A4 Bath Road, and so may hold AP tickets for previous trains.

I was seeing Faresaver apologising yesterday about the problems and asking people not to take it out on their drivers.   Good call by GWR (Great Western Railway) (if that's what the forward above is) to allow advanced purchase tickets to be used on later trains.
