Welcome to the forum, Billy192.

I suspect you'll get good answers in the morning ... just a few stragglers around at this time of night.   Can't be the first time it's happened ... just the first time for you.  Wink

To prevent fraud m-tickets are locked to the phone on which they were purchased. You may see your purchases on the app after installing it on a new phone and logging in, but it's unlikely, as you've discovered, that you'll be able to activate the tickets on the new device.

The terms and conditions you agree to when purchasing m-tickets say, "The ticket must be stored on your mobile phone until the date and time of travel and such safekeeping shall be your responsibility. M-Tickets are non-transferable."

I can only suggest you plead your case to FGW (First Great Western) Web Support. They can be contacted on 03457 000 125, open 0700-2200 every day.

I would have thought FGW (First Great Western) must have a procedure for this. Phones do get stolen or suffer catastrophic failures. Hardly something the user is responsible for in most cases.

Do you know if you have an 8 Character Booking Reference code? I vaguely remember booking an MTICKET by mistake or something very similar and thought I would try and collect it using the booking reference issued and card used... Didn't expect the TVM (Ticket Vending Machine) to print the darn thing... So as a very last resort you could give that a try. I have absolutely no idea if it will work - I just vaguely remember doing something like this a couple years ago. Smiley

Paper tickets can be lost or stolen too. An operator is under no obligation to replace them.

At least in this instance there was a procedure available via Web Support to link the tickets to a new device. A good bit of customer service beyond the Ts&Cs.
