I'm going to post series of four pictures (probably all four!) and ask "which is the off one out and why?" ... and I know there may be lots of different answers to the one I intended. To keep them clear of each other I'll do a separate post for each group - but if you've got one group right, please desist from answering others for 24 hours to give others a chance.
Just for fun!

First series - top picture? All others at Maiden Newton? Correct. The SWT▸ liveried unit was supposed to make that one a bit more difficult too. For a bonus point, where was the top picture taken. I noticed at Maiden Newton that the barrow crossing is NOT labelled with the usual "do not pass beyond this point" nor is there a "do not cross the line except by the footbridge" and indeed it appears to be the regular route to the southbound platform for many of the regulars.

I'll pass on the bonus point as I do not recognise it instantly . My initial thought was somewhere on the Heart of Wessex because of the Wizard - and therefore Dorchester West, but the footbridge, shelter and background discount that location I believe! As for the SWT▸ unit at Maiden Newton, FGW▸ has hired an SWT 158 and is using it on the Westbury to Weymouth service at the moment (but I had already recognised the location as Maiden Newton). From my half dozen or so visits in the last month, I've noticed that most pax prefer to use the barrow crossing rather than the bridge (even when they enter the station through the 'proper' entrance by the footbridge!)

Second Series I think number 4 is the odd one out for being the only picture not taken in Weymouth. I am going to hazard a guess that was taken at the Great Dorset Steam Fair in Blandford Forum. I think the Cash Machine is a red herring on that one. It's on the back of a Cash Machine in Weymouth Station, the front of which is on the Platforms *edit* I also know the Bonus Point Question... This is a town that very recently lost a Bus Service run by FirstGroup, But I'll leave the question open to the audience

I wouldn't expect anyone to know where it actually was though unless I give you a clue and tell you it was taken last Saturday (and even then it's hard) Are you able to join us this Saturday on the Weymouth Wizard, Mr Trout? They have First Class carriages on it, you know!

3rd series: Only one of the 4 bus services is still running (hence why it is the odd one out)?

Sadly, you are correct there, Nick ... * the 241 ceased a long time ago - pictured is a heritage run from Westbury to Warminster last October * the Melksham Rail link pictured a few days before it ceased; I joined it and it took 11 passengers to the station * the second last 234 from Trowbridge, 1st August, with six passengers (including me). Came to realise how useful that was last Saturday when I wanted to get home from Trowbridge at around that time. * Faresaver still run x72 buses from Bath to Melksham, Devizes and Easterton.
