It's Reliant Robin, not the other way round.  Despite that it looks more like a Reliant Rialto to me or possibly the older Reliant Regal van. |

The signalman must have watched his monitor in amazement. Presumably he didn't press the crossing clear button to clear the signal. Wonder how long train was delayed?
Not sure what line this crossing is on the Robing Hood or Pye Bridge to Kirby in Ashfield?

It's Reliant Robin, not the other way round. It would have been a Reliant Robin, but it was going the other way round. Biggest mystery to me though is why did the driver reverse on to the crossing, having just driven over it? |

I don't know - but it's described as "Pinxton level crossing" in the Guardian news item, if that helps. |
