My guesses (many of which were wild, and some of which I now know are wrong since answer have started being issued) would probably have been: 1. London Bridge 3. Manchester Piccadilly through platforms (probably my most confident answer) 4. Bridgend 8. London Euston 10. Neath 11. Salisbury 15. Thurso 20. Westbury 22. Bridgewater 23. Church Stretton 24. Lymington Town
I couldn't even guess at the rest. EDIT: looks like I only got 4/25 correct.

4 and 10 are indeed Bridgend and Neath. I think local knowledge may be in play there Rhydgaled.

Congratulations on winning a very difficult quiz, Adelante_CCT! 22 = Taunton, I'm not sure if this is correct but I always remember it as having a canopy on the outer platform(s) with no cover on the middle line platforms.
Yes, that is correct - and it was one of the four that I managed to identify correctly. As our readers will know by now, I'm something of an expert at spotting pictures of Taunton ...

William Huskisson MP▸ was the first person to be killed by a train while crossing the tracks, in 1830. Many more have died in the same way since then. Don't take a chance: stop, look, listen.

That was, I think, the hardest of the lot. Nice to see the Wales & West logo still out in the wild! It's only been 14 years since the demise of that franchise...

A friend works for the company who's advertising boarding is on the building in the background. Being a Newquay based taxi and bus firm it seemed an obvious guess to me.

I am kicking myself ! I was in (at?) Cromer station last Wednesday taking pictures from the opposite side of the platform...the posters, the natty shelter over the ATM‡, the signal box... the lot....but did I recognise it from the reverse shot ?? No. Kick! kick! kick!
I thought it was a brilliant quiz. Too easy, and we'd all be moaning, too hard and we'd still be moaning ! I, for one appreciate all the time and effort BNM puts in on our behalf to exercise our grey matter, and join in the positive comments relating to his stint as a moderator.
I might only have got 2 right ...but was particularly pleased to have identified Church Stretton ! Kicks discontinued !
