Found a bit of spare time to go through the entries and I can now announce the prize winners...
Winner: Adelante_CCT with 7 out of 25. Wins a ^20 Postal Order.
Runner up: AMLAG with 5 out of 25. Wins a ^10 Postal Order.
They have both been contacted by Personal Message (PM) to arrange delivery of prizes.
The thread is now unlocked. Before I provide the full list of answers I'll open the quiz to the forum just for fun. Feel free to guess the locations. As many or as few as you want.

Those are all correct. Had you entered and guessed one more correct you may well have been in a tie-break for runner-up!

Well I am surprised about that, I certainly don't get out and about as much as I used to and felt sure that a few others would get a much higher score than me! To be honest some of them were simply processes of elimination. I haven't been told which ones were correct but here were some of my guesses and reasons for them 3 = Manchester Piccadilly, not many other places where a FTPE» crosses paths with a Pendolino. 5 = Luton, somewhere an EMT» stops underneath the wires, this led to Luton Airport which is a newer station than that and Bedford which I believe it not to be from memory. 17 = Queens Park, my first thoughts were somewhere south of London but then I noticed what appears to be the infamous shed that you pass through when heading north of Queens Park station 21 = Orpington, my first thought was Bromley South but then I realised there were more than 4 platforms, which to my knowledge Orpington is the only station on the SouthEastern network (outside London) other than Ashford (which I knew it was not) to have more than 4 platforms. 22 = Taunton, I'm not sure if this is correct but I always remember it as having a canopy on the outer platform(s) with no cover on the middle line platforms.
