The relocation is part of the
HS2▸ hybrid Bill rework, the original location was in the part of North Pole not used by
GW▸ IEP▸ however with the planned Western rail access to Heathrow the relocation of HEX depot to Langley is very sensible use of a bit of industrial land
This does make me chuckle, the clue is in the article it was an oil terminal which had HGV full of nasty flammable stuff moving through Langley 24 - 7 not that many years ago and back in 1973 there was a huge fire.

The other thing that makes me smile is the fact it really don't matter what they build on the site there will be the same amount of HGV's for the construction.
