Edit to add .... Go-op AGM (Annual General Meeting) in Chippenham on 18th July.

I would anticipate a pensive meeting and a tribute
http://www.firstgreatwestern.info/coffeeshop/index.php?topic=15806

is it open?

Which I hope would be accessible for those of us who knew Tim.

I have been on several 153s, a trip down the valley to Looe on one is always nice, usually not too busy either.

I have just seen updated news on the Go-op website about the AGM (Annual General Meeting):

Attendance is not strictly limited to members, other co-operators and potential co-operators are also welcome. So if you have friends or colleagues who are interested in joining, do encourage them to come along, there will be an opportunity to sign up on the day.

GO-OP (Original Poster / topic starter) AGM

Saturday 18 July 2015
14:00

The Citadel Hall, Bath Road, Chippenham, SN15 2AB

GO-OP aim to be the first co-operatively owned open access operator in the UK (United Kingdom). Their flagship project is a Westbury to Birmingham Moor Street service. The 2015 AGM will be held in Chippenham where it will be interesting to hear about progress. Details from info@go-op.coop

From http://transwilts.org/tw/events

Attendees from TransWilts please note - NO TRANSWILTS TRAINS after the morning peak.

11:32 rail replacement bus from Trowbridge, 11:52 from Melksham gets you to Chippenham at 12:12
From Westbury, 11:21 train change to bus at Trowbridge.

From Westbury you can also catch the 12:10 train, and from Trowbridge the 12:16 train, and change at Bath.
This will get you to Chippenham at 13:20 (having been diverted via the TransWilts as Box tunnel is closed)

From Westbury, FGW (First Great Western) site is only offering the "via Melksham" fare on the 11:21,  even though the 12:10 runs via Melksham.

I wonder if the Go-op folks are making a very clever point by holding their AGM in Chippenham on this date!

Just to avoid confusion, I believe Graham means 11:52 from Melksham rather than Trowbridge

He does, thank you for that correction.   Exceptionally, I've gone back and modified the previous post so that it stands correct for anyone who reads it without looking down to the Codacil.
