Looking at JourneyCheck first thing, I saw

Quote
04:50 Hereford to London Paddington due 07:59
This train will call additionally at Honeybourne.
This is due to a person hit by a train earlier.

- which looked a wee bit odd, there being nothing else having similar issues.

So I looked on Realtime Trains, which showed no apparent stop - the train was on time departing Evesham and on time arriving Moreton, so it seems unlikely that it stopped.

So what was going on? Has this weakened my faith in the reliability of what's shown on JourneyCheck?

Just spotted the cause, thanks to another thread here.

The previous one, the 05:11 from Shrub Hill, had been cancelled for the same reason. Probably due to the continued effects of Friday's incident.

And of course that one would have disappeared from JourneyCheck by the time I looked.

Breathes huge sigh of relief and trusts the information once again!

Still must have been v fast from Evesham to Moreton if it included a stop.

Unfortunately a person was hit by a train at Malvern late last night, so will have caused issues this morning.
