Since the TransWilts service was improved towards the end of 2013, I've travelled by train from my local station in Melksham to no fewer than 12 different countries.   Tickets such as RailSail, CIV▸ (International Convention for the transportation of Passengers) and Gatwick Flyer, and a local connecting bus to the station, make this a really effective way to get around.   Alas, many of my trips have been for work - so I lack iconic picture of some of th countries.   Which ones can YOU work out?

3.  The statue of liberty and Manhattan, probably taken from teh Newark cruise terminal or thereabouts.  I have a similar picture so perhaps that is cheating Wink

I've updated the original post to show which have been identified.   Free for all now - and there's at least one easy one left.

I'm happy with the COUNTRY for many of these - exact locations are going to be tough in some cases!

Someone has to say the obvious.

I believe the edifice in 1 was designed by Alexandre Gustave Eifel. It is not a lattice bridge in Porto, so just perhaps it is a tower in Paris.
