I wondered if anyone has any information about the re-signalling between Totnes and Penzance?

I think it to be an essential for the proposed half hourly local services in I believe 2017.

It will have to be put out to contract pretty soon if it is to be implemented in time.

It would be very interesting to see the works that are planned and possible track layout changes..

A contract for GRIP4 (final option selection and outline design) is due to be let very soon.

I fear that any layout changes will be in the form of "removals" rather than additions and will be sad to see the bay platform at Lostwithiel go.

Does anyone know what changes are being proposed at Penzance-Ponsandane-Long Rock to accommodate the new train servicing arrangements?

It is rumoured the Penzance morrisons store is ear marked for closure under morrisons store closure announcement a few months back.
Now looking what is in the way of extending the long rock depot to accommodating servicing and putting 2 and 2 together and I can draw a conclusion.
