It must be very difficult to make a documentary about 1970s British Rail without archive material featuring that man.

On a par with the 'Sounds of...' and 'Top of the Pops' repeats on BBC4. There's only so much untainted footage. Seems these days only Noel Edmonds, Peter Powell and Tony Blackburn feature.

I decided to look for it on demand, and am now watching "The Golden Age of Steam", which was on Yesterday. As I had to sit through 2 minutes of adverts, I'll watch the programme I was looking for next. This is quite good, all about rebuilding closed lines.

Is that the BBC» (British Broadcasting Corporation - home page) Four two parter from late 2012? Heavily featuring the Severn Valley Railway? if so it's a very good documentary.
