Real Time Trains ... now showing Sunday 17th and Monday 18th May 2015 ... so we can all look at what's happening (or not happening) this summer ;-).  For the new Saturday service pattern it's probably best to wait and see what's running on 30th May, since 23rd May is the Bank Holiday weekend and planned for the transfer of Swindon signalling to the signalling centre at Didcot.

I'm delighted to have confirmation for the TransWilts of Sunday changes.   The initial trial service (Dcember 2013 to December 2016) was basically a bolt-on on top of exisiting trains and done in such a way that it could easily be removed if it didn't work.  It's done very cleverly on Monday to Friday, pretty well on Saturdays, and on Sundays it produced a very disjoin service with gaps of 3 hours for much of the day, then as little as half an hour between trains late in the day.

From 17th May, northbound Sunday services at 08:46, 10:46, 12:46, 14:50, 16:45, 18:52 and 19:57.  Southbound services at 09:52, 11:54, 13:54, 15:54, 17:54 and 20:19. Times are at Melksham (easiest to pick out from Real Time Trains).  Very sensible.   Also weekday extension of the 12:47 from Swindon to Frome, returning from there to get into Swindon at 15:03.  Another sensible change.

Thank you to those who have worked on / scheduled these changes.  Whilst a few may regret the odd change, this is very much a sensible step on which we can build even better usage
