Christmas and new year trains - NORTHBOUND - calling times at Melksham.  For times at other stations, subtract 18 minutes (Westbury) or 10 minutes (Trowbridge) or add 10 minutes (Chippenham) or 28 minutes (Swindon)

Christmas and new year trains - SOUTHBOUND - calling times at Melksham.  For times at other stations, subtract 28 minutes (Swindon) or 10 minutes (Chippenham) or add 10 minutes (Trowbridge) or 18 minutes (Westbury).   The Late bus (northbound) runs at 23:40 from Trowbridge Town Hall to Melksham Market Place (00:02), route 234, and accepts valid train tickets.

These trains leave Swindon about 28 minutes before calling at Melksham, and Chippenhahm 10 minutes before.
They call at Trowbridge 10 minutes after Melksham and arrive at Westbury 18 minutes after Melksham.  The Late bus (southbound) runs at 22:21 from Chippenham Railway Station, calls at Melksham Market Place at 22:42 and arrives at Trowbridge Town Hall at 23:01, route 234, and accepts valid train tickets.

This confirms the timetable information shown above in this thread

Note that amended really means reduced from next Monday, with the 07:19 and 07:48 replaced northbound by a single service at 07:37, and the 19:47 not running.   Southbound, the 06:38 isn't running and neither is the 19:20 (Melksham times given ... centre of line).

I'm to blame...my train from the South West is diverted via Melksham (not calling) after stopping at Westbury at 07:46 and arrives at Swindon at 08:21.
