Right does anyone know what this is going to be and where this is going on.

I'm travelling plymouth to London. But I'm going via Exeter and changing to a Waterloo service. So does anyone know how this will effect my journey.

Your post eems a little vague about where the Works are and what area is affected.
Might be able to investigate if more detail was provided.
