Sitting on the 1752 somewhere near Ealing broadway not going anywhere fast (or even at all) Apparently there are signalling problems in the southall/hayes area. Oh well - I do see a lot of stoppers going past us mind.

Line problem in the Hayes & Harlington area. Train services between London Paddington and Slough are being disrupted due to signalling problems in the Hayes & Harlington area.Short notice alterations, cancellations and delays of up to 30 minutes can be expected.
Sort it out Network Rail!!

It would be berable on the comfort of a HST-especially un refurb.

Just going through Southall now and the local stoppers which flew past us have turned it into a train park. There are 2-3 stacked on each platform by the looks of it

Refurb would be nicer - my battery may give out before I get home at this rate! i hummed and dithered about waiting for the 1822 HST but thought - nah, quiet day, may as well get the earlier one At least I'd be comfortable with a trolley service on the later train (ad have power!)

Fortunately tonight I managed to get the 17:18 Turbo to Twyford instead of my usual 17:36. We crawled from signal to signal from Hanwell to the west of Southall where we got put onto the relief but progress from there onwards was reasonably good and we were about 23 late at Twyford. According to Live Departure Boards the 18:06 HST▸ took 58 minutes to reach Twyford! The 18:18 Turbo is currently expected 42 late... EDIT UPDATE - According to LDB the 18.18 was 51 late at Twyford, looks like delays are continuing to worsen...

Well I was due into WOS» at 2022 and got in at 2049 The one I would normally have been on is the 1822 which last I checked was due at 2039 but expected 2130 So it looks like the later commuters got shafted tonight

Track Circuit Failure on the Down Main at Airport Junction, all HSS▸ (Fast Services) switched to relief just before Hayes. Stopping services not calling anywhere between Southall and Slough. Services to London were able to call as normal.
Alot of delays.

18:18 from Paddington departed on time, with no hint that there might be delays. Parked up for an age around Ealing, with the driver saying that he didn't know what the problem was. Later informed it was due to overrunning repairs. Arrived at Maidenhead around 19:26 (I think - I'd lost the will to concentrate by then!).

Another example of how a little information would help commuters at least know what was going on.. However many times I tell FGW▸ this though, and they agree with me, they forget about it next time there is a problem, and I have to tell them again.

According to FGW▸ 's website, my train was not calling at West Drayton, Iver or Langley this morning due to signalling problems. It stopped at all of them, albeit about 7 minutes late (the screens at West Drayton said it was cancelled, causing a bit of confusion when it showed up - no announcements whatsoever). Not sure if that means the problems have been fixed...

Didn't network rail recently replace Airport Junction completely?
