Lovely. Do you think it would work for my several hats lost when travelling on trains?

Watch out for a flood of news/media coverage, as it's the kind of cuddly item that some editors can't resist. I've just seen quite a long piece on France 2 lunchtime news.

Should have been launched at Paddington though.
Or at 837 grams, in the lighter side ?

Should have been launched at Paddington though.
Sadly cancelled due to a bear being unavailable! (puts on coat and runs away dodging flying rocks!) Edit note: Quote marks fixed. CfN.

I'm posting this item on our 'lighter side' board, if only because James Davis of First Great Western seems to share my own inclination to offer you some apawling puns. From the FGW▸ press release: Show some Valentine^s Teddy Lovin and get these lost bears homeCan you share the Valentine^s Day love and help reunite these lost teddy bears and other cuddly toys with their families? Show a little heart and help us to get them home. Show some Teddy Lovin. Separated from their loved ones, they have all been found travelling on the First Great Western network, stretching across 10 counties from London Paddington to Furze Platt, from Bere Alston to Patchway, and from Honeybourne to Peru^sey.Unable to negotiate the gap unaided, these little bears and other cute cuddly toys have lost their families. Eventually, aided by our helpful and friendly staff, they have found their way to Lost Property in the vaults of Bristol Temple Meads Station. They have been fed, looked after and many adventures have been had. But now they are missing loved ones and want to return home. Can you help them? Should you recognise any of our most wanted cuddly toys please email teddyrescue@firstgroup.comdescribing the lost bear, highlighting any distinctive features, the direction of escape (where they were lost); their name, your name, full address and contact details. The campaign Since Teddy Rescue was launched in November 2014, many people have offered to provide a new home for a lost toy, but we have been unable to reunite single bear or cuddly with their original family. Help us get them home. Lost bears and other cuddly toys not reunited with their owner within three months will embark on new adventures with a Children^s charity. (My highlighting. CfN.)

The full press release from FGW▸ Monday 10 August Lost teddy bears escape train company If you go down to the beach today, you are sure of a big surprise^. For every bear that ever was lost, has gathered there for certain because^. Today^s the day the teddy bears have escaped Lost Property^. Do you recognise any of these shady characters? Unable to negotiate the gap unaided, these little bears and other cute cuddly toys have been separated from their families on board First Great Western trains. Eventually, aided by our helpful and friendly staff, they found their way to Lost Property in the vaults of Bristol Temple Meads Station^. But have now escaped. Having been fed and looked after, they seek new summer adventures across the First Great Western network, stretching 10 counties from London Paddington to Furze Platt, from Bere Alston to Patchway, and from Honeybourne to Peru^sey. But what they really want is to go home. Can you help them? Should you recognise any of our shady soft toys please email teddyrescue@firstgroup.com describing the lost bear, highlighting any distinctive features, the direction of escape (where they were lost); their name, your name, full address and contact details.
