Hello all,

It appears I registered on this forum a few years ago then completely forgot; it was only when I had a message from Graham asking if I was coming back did I think ooops, and decided to get a it more active! Embarrassed

Anyway, a few of you members may recognise me from another forum (under the same username). So yes, I'm interested in railways and in terms of this forum, particularly any developments on the Cotswold Line and the Worcester area, such as Worcestershire Parkway etc.

So yeah, that's me  Grin

Excellent, hopefully another person to campaign for faster services to Worcester from London.

Had to move away from Worcestershire due to the train service! (hence my less frequent posts recently)

And I only get the 172s when I visit - after putting up with 150s to Worcester for my commutes for years...

Do the new signals between Droitwich and Worcester actually work yet? I remember when they put them in, they didn't actually help! Hopefully they can get the line speed above 75 mph now the 150s are history.

Indeed, I am the 'mapboy'. Droitwich is fine at the moment, though it's currently battling 2 large appeals of 800 houses. Me on the other hand, came back from a brilliant CCF Camp at Northolt last week; hence with no internet I hadn't replied earlier, only to have contracted pneumonia now. Undecided

I would like to also we better services to Worcester from somewhere that isn't Birmingham!

The intermediate signals work though unfortunately I don't think the line-speed will see any chance of an upgrade until the whole Worcester area is resignalled.
