You are correct in thinking the train is Swiss, however the station is not in Switzerland.

I agree, they are tough.  Originally uploaded to accompany a post discussing the pros/cons of Trenitalia versus rail in the UK▸ (United Kingdom), I decided to make them into a little quiz first.

To aid, they are all take in the same country.  Another clue: the order in which I visited these is: 2-5-2-3-4-3-2-6-1.

I've only arrived there twice, and left once - d'oh! First time, we came in from Peschiera on Lake Garda, arriving at a platform between a Eurostar and the Orient Express. You would have thought it was memorable.

Given that 48 hours have elapsed, can I have a second try?

4 is one of the waterbus piers in Venice. You can see the ACTV logo on the gates. Which particular pier I'm not sure, because I don't remember anything as big as this. So I'm guessing it's the main pier at the Lido.

Absolutely correct!  I was surprised to be issued with my ticket on a disposable cardboard smartcard.  Definitely something that could be considered for Oyster▸ (Smartcard system used by passengers on Transport for London services) and other smartcard implementations.
