Would London Bridge Station Roof fit here?

The limit of future electrification?

Phyllis and Ada are near here!

Not exactly the "Didcot Dance", but you get the picture!

Can you place the right picture with the right caption?  When done, try the prize quiz

I'll open for answers tomorrow!

Picture 4 must be Aberystwyth, Vale of Rheidol - where part of London Bridge Station's roof is to be recycled - though I can't find this view on Google Maps!

Indeed .. 1, 2 and 4 identified correctly

No. 3 - location, and what do I mean by the "Didcot Dance"?

Ironically, I'm on a train just drawing into Didcot.  In the quiet carriage, enjoyng all the buffet announcements and the phone conversation of the guy next to me ;-) and just saw the Oxford train pull out

<plug>And back to Bignosemac's prize quiz which I plugged in the original post here; I can only identify a handful of his pictures ... some are not easy at all, and it's really worth having a go</plug>

Is 3 Swindon and it's the Gloucester train pulling out instead of the Oxford?

You have it ... one and the same situation.  But to be fair, most Gloucester / Cheltenham traffic from Bristol and west thereof would to via Yate or Chepstow.  Missed connections are only going to be from Bath and Chippenham, or to Kemble, Stroud or Stonehouse in this case

Where on earth do they think they're going to put that? It looks enormous from that sketch, and would probably blight Aberystwyth's own listed station buildings. The Vale Of Rheidol's Llanbardan halt, out near Morrisons, would be a better place to try putting it I think. It's been a year since the VOR started building their new engine shed though I think (it says 2012 on it) and it's still not finished, so how do they think they'll have time to build their London Bridge museum?

Don't DOO (Driver-Only Operation (that is, trains which operate without carrying a guard)) it, keep the guard (but it probably wouldn't be a bad idea if the driver unlocked the doors on arrival at calling points).
