I've heard of multiple working, but I'd be somewhat surprised if FGW (First Great Western) are running HST (High Speed Train (Inter City class 43 125 units))'s in multiple with other stock.

Hmm. My best guess would be that a set-swap occurred at Temple Meads to get the HST (High Speed Train (Inter City class 43 125 units)) back onto an up train with minimum delays and that somehow got mangled into an attachment on live departure boards.

Yes ... my guess too.  There have been some odd workings this weekend ... a class 150 from Didcot to Swindon (from where it formed the 18:22 to Cheltenham)

This was the message from JourneyCheck

This train has been delayed at Didcot Parkway by 25 minutes, has been further delayed at Swindon and is now 26 minutes late.

This train will be terminated at Bristol Temple Meads and restarted from Bristol Temple Meads.

This is due to congestion caused by earlier delays.
