Hi all

As requested - am now working on going through various bits and bobs of information in order to get some FGW (First Great Western) engineering works altered timetables going on swlines. In order to make it a lot easier on myself - (I've had this in the planning and development stages for a few weeks) I'm moving swlines to a CMS based system allowing maintenance and general editing a lot lot easier.

However, this brings benefits to you, the end-user, as I will be giving FGW the same treatment as I currently give SWT (South West Trains) services, and you will be able to download altered timetables from a page something like this. I wouldn't bother trying the URL at the moment, it wouldn't work and I just photoshopped it to hide the development location.

Normal timetables for day to day use will also be available, but for that, I ask you, the FGW passengers what tables and what formats would be best for you on the move. Bear in mind that I aim to make the timetables as easy to use as possible, ie, developed so they can be printed straight to A4 paper for a days use.

At the moment, my tables in development are:
* Portsmouth Harbour to Cardiff Central (basically complete, just need to do SuO ((in timetables) Sunday only) and get unit allox)
* London to Bristol Temple Meads (and Exeter), Cardiff Central and Portsmouth Harbour

Any other requests? Any intercity table I develop will have those catering codes to make it easier for you to pick a train!

Hi all again

I'm currently redeveloping swlines as mentioned in the previous post. At the moment it is very very much WIP however, even though it is I think it would be worth showing you all and asking for your input.

As I say, it's very much in WIP and in no way finished (if I put that up, I would get shot).

Thank you for your comments in advance, they are very much appreciated.
