Asking the pedants in the pedant topic... Wos 1950, 2950, 1u and 2u? In laymans terms please.  You will wish you hadn't asked BNM ! 1950 and 2950 are types of servers made by dell. IIRC▸ they replaced the 1850 and 2850 models The U refers to the size they take up vertically in a computer cabinet where 1u is about 1 inch 2u is about 2 inches and so on. But I think the point TT was making was more to do with their length from front to back. They were not the smallest of beasts! Wake up BNM I've finished now! |

Spot on  I was basing my pedency on the depth of said servers... They had just used the Bezels (Front Covers) in the film set and anyone with knowledge of those servers would be well aware that they were not fitted in that cabinet  And now for this excellent piece of signage courtesy of a friends Facebook... I think it is meant to say: No Dogs, Skateboarding, Alcohol or Smoking... Of course if one looks at this with their Autistic Literal head on... I would love to see this happen rather than enforce it's banning  |

Spotted today  There's getting to be a shortage of these spaces at the station in question, as the law abiding citizens stop there to do a "Kiss and Ride" drop off in two minutes, then have to hang around for a further 18 minutes. Perhaps the sign should say "up to 20 minutes" ...  |
