Apparently not. Update says it was a Victorian pressure vessel. Hope no poor kids were doing their exams in the school that was evacuated.

Not sure if this is pedantry or health and safety gone mad - but if a train passed this sign at sufficient speed to cause turbulence, I'd be a might concerned about those buffer stops....

They are not big on capitals, with the main exception being Caerdydd.

Probably because the English was written by a random employee and then translated into Welsh by someone who has a proper knowledge of the grammar of that language. As I recall (happy to be corrected) only proper nouns in English should start with a capital letter, so the English on the sign is incorrect, the Welsh is spot on! Unless of course it is south Walian Welsh, in which case it's just plain wrong!
