Hi Basset,

The link you posted just loaded up Google Maps.

I think I've found the carriages you're one about here: http://goo.gl/maps/E3IcC

I would say they are some form of Mk2 (Mark 2 coach) Carriage Stock. However I have no idea if they're still there.

*edit 2* - Correct Shortened Link

No not at all richwarwicker... The link you clicked was as you say, the village (which was wrong). It appears I stuffed up the link. If you try it again now it will show you the other locations of the carriages (There are two locations)

Basset44 is right in what was said, there are 2 locations. The link I originally posted was correct but insanely long so I shortened it. However when I did I messed it up! I've amended. Thanks Smiley

Caerwent has often been used to store withdrawn stock; in the mid "00"s whilst slam-door, DC (Direct Current) EMU (Electric Multiple Unit) stock was being withdrawn en masse in the south east of England there was a lot of those carriages parked up there awaiting scrapping, and various preservation groups were also offered the opportunity to pick up spares for their mark 1 fleets.
