Interesting that they're offering Weekend First for ^5 with this ticket as well. See the: T's & C'sBut I'm wondering how they'll go about it? Charge you ^5 for every different train you're on? Or would they just do a blanket ^5 upgrade and effectively treat it as a First Class All Network Pass?

England play France at Twickenham on the 23rd. Could be busy from Salisbury!

It was a good try but indeed could be a scrum for seats.

So your journey doesn't need to start at Salisbury, you simply need to get there between 20th and 23rd February to buy the ticket?
I don't really need the ticket anyway, as my season ticket can give me more than enough entertainment on SWT▸ services than I care to enjoy, but it is a great promotion nevertheless.

Or a Penalty if found in First Class without the upgrade

On a previous promotion (at Petersfield), tickets were available without a voucher. Anyone would think they are trying to cash-in on the unaware walk-up passengers this time round.....

As mentioned on previous incarnations of this, you can acquire the ticket from Eastleigh from the Wednesday before - so it would not be necessary to travel from Eastleigh on the Saturday.
