You couldn't have done that in the 'golden age' - the soot would have fouled up the i-thingy.  In those days you were forced to look out of the window as the seats were inconveniently lined up, so you had little option.  I shall be watching though, but on a tv set, being a traditionalist.  Wink

As a 'deviationist' from 1968 I had a wave of nostalgia and thought the programme wonderful.  I think it is worth watching for the historic colour images alone.  If you don't know what a deviationist was, watch the programme for a full explanation but basically they built the Ffestiniog Railway spiral.  I only volunteered once: it was too much for me Shocked.
