So - which is the station who's name should be changed?
Liverpool Street, named after Lord Liverpool. Isn't that photo in Bath?

Bristol's long lost train station that's on track to reopenAmbitious vision includes new stations, low-carbon trains and "turn-up-and-go" servicesA long-lost Bristol train station that shut 50 years ago could be reopened under ambitious plans for the region's rail over the next decade. Campaigners including MP▸ Kerry McCarthy are celebrating after St Anne's Park station in Brislington received up to ?50,000 from the Government to begin the process of restoring it back to life. Source: Bristol LiveAdmit it - we all knew the Bristol-Bath electrification would be completed with 750v DC▸ third-rail... it was the only way to satisfy the Keepers of Bath's Heritage

The picture of 444 040 is in the November 2018 issue of "Railway Gazette" (I googled it - I don't have a collection). It's obviously not Bristol - someone will recognise the setting.

Higher res at ... https://farm5.static.flickr.com/4820/43994813450_4436cdfbcb_b.jpg... looks like platform 5; terminal track, extra terminal track to the right. Too straight and old for Reading?

Okay, I'm ignorant of these things. To me it's obviously not in or near Bristol cos the only SWR» services that come here are the Waterloo-Temple Meads and the Portsmouth-Cardiff services, which call at Temple Meads and Bath but it's obviously not either of those places. And even if it were, a GWR▸ service would be far more relevant as they're surely the only ones that will stop at St Anne's Park etc (if anything ever does).
So what I want to know is, how can you tell from the photo that it's running on third rail?

The unit is in passenger service, front light on, CIS▸ showing stops, so not being hauled arround empty by a diesel, and a 444 is 3rd rail only, though does have a space for a pantagragh.

Thanks all! I could see it was the end of a line, but couldn't read the CIS▸ well enough to figure out where the train was going.

Thanks. But other than knowing that a 444 is third rail only, how could you tell by looking at it that it wasn't a DMU▸ ?
